Licensed Practical Nursing Programs

Every state requires completion of a state approved LPN program (Licensed Vocational Nursing/LVN program in California and Texas) as an eligibility prerequisite to sit for the NCLEX-PN exam. Successfully passing the NCLEX-PN exam is required by every state prior to licensure being granted (each state has it’s own passing score threshold), so your first step is to find an approved program.

A sample of LPN or LVN programs offered in your state can be found by conducting a search here. If no programs are found, please visit your state board of nursing website to obtain a list of approved programs.
